Thrifting in Japan can prove to be a fairly expensive venture. Thing’s that are considered to be “Vintage” are much more expensive then something new. It’s a young fashion movement that is similar what ever you would consider it to be in the United States it’s just much more expensive and prominently seen in day to day fashion.I found a Thrift store across from my apartment called “Don Don Don Down on Wednesday” in which all of the prices are lower on Wednesdays. I bought a nasty “vintage” flannel shirt that is way too big on me (this all carb diet seems to be working haha) for 100 yen.
I roamed the female section for a while an didn't find much that was very interesting or picture worthy.
The guys section how ever was a gold mine! Everything was so campy and fun! I will surely be back next Wednesday.
